Guest speakers

Chris Linnitt - Business owner, lawyer, endurance athlete and above-knee amputee whose life has been shaped by resilience, adaptation and refusing to accept conventional limits. Following a serious motorcycle accident, 32 operations and years of reconstructive surgery, Chris made the decision to have his left leg amputated. He went on to build and lead Beyond Legal, complete marathons and ultra-endurance challenges, climb Kilimanjaro and take on some of the toughest routes in the Alps. Most recently, Chris climbed through Mont Blanc’s Gouter Route and reached 4,350 metres before making the difficult decision to turn back. His story is not simply about never giving up. It is about judgement, adaptability, leadership and learning that success does not always look the way you originally imagined it would.

Katie Warren - Founder of Fixer Property & Management, a leading holiday home management company based in Cornwall. For nearly 15 years, Fixer has supported property owners across the county with a comprehensive, end-to-end service covering management, compliance, project management, interior design, and property consultation. With a legal background, Katie brings a rigorous, detail-driven approach to property management. Under her leadership, Fixer has become a trusted name in Cornwall's holiday letting sector, known for its meticulous standards and personal, hands-on service. With minimal marketing, the business thrives on agency and owner referrals. Katie is also a respected advocate for Cornwall's tourism industry. A founding director of the Cornwall Self-Catering Collective and self-catering representative for the new Destination Management Organisation, supporting tourism and raising standards across the sector is now one of Katie's main passions.

Event host

The event will be hosted by Sophie Gratton, a coach, business owner, and experienced event facilitator who has brought together thousands of people through networking events. Sophie created In The Room Collective to offer a more intentional space for ambitious people to connect, reflect, and grow alongside others who are moving forward.

Professional headshots

There will be the opportunity to purchase professional headshots taken by Holly Falzon - Pictures & Petals at the event, providing the perfect opportunity to update your LinkedIn profile, website or social media. Ticket policy: Tickets for this event are non-refundable, in the event that you are unable to attend you are welcome to pass your ticket on to a business connection.
